The Challenge: Optimize the A-to-Z list page for an enterprise product list where users were facing difficulties navigating the extensive catalog. The existing layout lacked user-friendly features, leading to decreased engagement and a high abandonment rate during searches.
My Role: As a UI / UX designer, my role involved conducting thorough user research, including interviews, heatmap analysis, and surveys, to identify specific pain points. I led the design efforts to create the "Search in Page" AEM component, focusing on streamlining product find-ability improving visual hierarchy, and enhancing overall user experience.
Results:
1. Improved Navigation: The introduction of a search filter plus an alphabetical filter resulted in a 30% increase in the ease of finding products.
2. Increased Engagement: Average time spent on the A-to-Z list page rose by 20%, indicating a notable improvement in user engagement.
3. Positive User Feedback: Surveys revealed positive responses, with users appreciating the improved visual appeal and functionality of the redesigned page.
